Garlic and Onions May Prevent Cancers

In the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Italian researchers reported that people whose diets are rich in onions, garlic, and other members of the allium family, had a much lower risk of several types of cancer than those who avoid them.

The researchers concluded that garlic and onion consumption could be a maker for a healthier lifestyle and a more varied diet.
